New Delhi, November 12: Mercedes-Benz India has launched its new car, the Mercedes AMG C63 S E Performance, in India at a starting price of INR 1.95 crore (ex-showroom). This is the third plug-in hybrid launched in India by the German automaker, offering both battery and fuel options for driving. The AMG C 63 S E Performance bookings opened today, and deliveries are set to start in April 2025.
The new Mercedes AMG C 63 S E Performance comes with the 4Matic+ system, which transfers power to all four wheels and helps the driver achieve 0-100 km within 3.3 to 3.4 claimed seconds. The power comes from a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine, replacing the old V8 engine in the Mercedes-AMG C63. It offers a maximum 680 hp power and superior 1,200 Nm peak torque. Mercedes AMG C 63 S E Performance Transmission, Battery and Top Speed
Mercedes AMG C 63 S E Performance engine is mated with nine-speed transmission and the 4Matic+ system comes with drift mode. The luxury performance sedan achieves a maximum 280 kmph speed (electronically limited in India). It houses a 6.1kWh battery that offers the sedan a maximum range of up to 13 km—the battery weighs around 89 kilograms. The drivers can switch into eight modes:e Electric, Sport, Battery Hold, Comfort, Sport+, Individual, Slippery and RACE.

Mercedes-Benz’s AMG C 63 S E Performance includes a grille with vertical slates offering a more commanding look on the front and a premium look on the rear. It comes with 20-inch alloy wheels, 83mm length, 76mm wider width, and a quad-tip exhaust system. Inside, the car is loaded with high-quality carbon fibre, Alcantara, and specific inserts related to the AMG lineup. It gets the MBUX system, 15W Burnmaster music system, HUD, and a panoramic sunroof. The Mercedes AMG C 63 S E Performance also offers red ambient lighting for more comfort and a premium experience. The 12.3-inch infotainment screen, ADAS features, 360-degree cameras, seven airbags, and AMG-special steering wheel all make it look more elegant.
