A youth identified as Arman was brutally beaten by a woman and locals in Uttar Pradesh’s Meerut after allegedly snatching the woman’s mobile phone in a crowded market near Begumpul. The incident was captured on video, showing the woman and others stripping the man semi-naked and continuously thrashing him. Despite his repeated apologies and pleas, the crowd did not stop. The woman, enraged by the theft, held the youth by his hair, slapped him, and kicked him. The crowd kept him captive until police arrived and took him into custody. The video of the incident has gone viral on social media.
