Maruti Suzuki Price Cut for AMT Variants of Alto K10, Ignis, S-Presso, Celerio, Wagon-R, Swift, Dzire, Baleno & Fronx Announced; Check Details Here

Mumbai, June 4: Maruti Suzuki India recently announced a price reduction of its automated manual transmission (AMT) variants of the passenger cars across its product line-up, making two-pedal cars more affordable than before. As per a regulatory filing on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), the Indo-Japanese carmaker slashed prices of its Auto-Gear Shift variants by Rs. 5,000 across its range effective from June 1, 2024. This price cut applies to all smaller AMT variants of Maruti Suzuki, which includes the Alto K10, Ignis, S-Presso, Celerio, Wagon-R, Swift, Dzire, Baleno and Fronx. Post price reduction, the Maruti Suzuki AGS range will now begin from Rs. 5.51 lakh (ex-showroom) for the Alto K10 AGS and go up to Rs. 9.83 lakh (ex-showroom) for the Baleno Alpha AGS. It’s worth noting that this price cut is only for smaller AMT passenger cars. The carmaker has already introduced the new-gen Swift in India, which is expected to be followed by the next-gen Dzire sub-compact sedan. The company is also readying to introduce the ‘Dream Series’ edition of its three hatchbacks. It includes the Alto K10, S-Presso and the Celerio. This edition variants are expected to bring more features to each model at an affordable price, which could start from Rs. 5 lakh (ex-showroom). Besides, Maruti Suzuki will soon reveal its first electric SUV in production avatar showcased in concept form as the EVX. The electric SUV could hit the Indian roads by early next year.
