Rajwinder Singh, who travelled to India days after 24-year-old Cordingley’s death in 2018 and was arrested in November, has said he will reveal all the details before an Australian court.
Cordingley’s body was found by her father Troy during a search in sand dunes on Wangetti Beach, north of Cairns, in October 2018.
Singh has said he will also reveal why he left the country soon after Cordingley’s death.
He told the Courier Mail he did not kill Cordingley, and that he was an “eye witness to a murder”.
Singh has chosen to waive his extradition battle, instead submitting a request to return to Australia.
The Courier Mail reported that he said he wished for the case to be thoroughly investigated.
Singh had been working as a nurse in Innisfail before leaving the country.
