Male teachers ditched their trousers and wore skirts in a show of support for a boy who was expelled for doing just that.
Borja Velazquez, 36, and Manuel Ortega, 37, took inspiration from Mikel Gomez after he was told to stay at home after going to school in a skirt.
Teachers across Spain have joined the Clothes Have No Gender movement, started at Virgen de Sacedon primary school in Valladolid, north-west Spain.
Mikel was ordered to stay away and it has since sparked debate about stereotypes surrounding gender across the country.
The teachers said they wanted to show support for the 15-year-old.

He was teased so badly he ended up changing clothes completely.
But when he wore a skirt, he was told never to return – but now the boy has has been backed by his teachers.
Mr Ortega was ‘horrified’ at the decision and it prompted him to wear a skirt throughout the month of May.
In a post on Twitter, he said: “A school that educates with respect, diversity, co-education and tolerance.
“Dress how you want! We join the campaign #clotheshavenogender.”
Fellow teacher Jose Pinas said he had previously ‘suffered persecution’ because of his sexual orientation.

Tweeting a photo of himself donning a skirt, he wrote: “20 years ago I suffered persecution and insults for my sexual orientation in the institute where I am now a teacher.
“Many teachers, they looked the other way.
“I want to join the cause of the student, Mikel, who has been expelled and sent to the psychologist for going to class with a skirt.”
It is claimed the teenager was told to go and see a psychologist by his teacher after wearing the skirt to class last year.
He told of his experience on TikTok and it quickly drew attention.

Parents have praised the teachers’ actions online, with one posting: “Congratulations on your attitude.
“High schools are sometimes very hard for students, you have to know how to be aware of it and position yourself without nuances to guarantee yourself safety from attacks.”
