There are major delays on the M1 Pacific motorway north of Sydney this morning.

One of three southbound lanes remains closed due to a crash near Peats Ridge this morning.

Road crews and emergency services are attending.

Traffic is currently queued about 5km so motorists should allow plenty of extra travel time.

There are also delays on the Hume Highway, south of Sydney after a car and truck collided.

One of two southbound lanes is closed just past Picton Road.

There’s also been an oil spill as a result of the crash.
