Mumbai, July 11: Homegrown automaker Mahindra & Mahindra has announced a price cut on AX7 and AX7 L top-spec variants of the XUV700. The SUV maker says this price reduction of up to INR 2.2 lakh is to celebrate the third anniversary of the XUV700, which will be applicable till November 2024. It’s worth noting that this limited-period price rejig was announced after Mahindra recently introduced two new Forest and Burnt Sienna colourways to celebrate 2 lakh unit production milestone and a mid-spec AX5 trim for the SUV in the Indian market.
Mahindra XUV700 AX7 trim was previously available with a starting price of INR 21.44 lakh (ex-showroom). With new pricing coming into effect, the range now starts at 19.69 lakh (ex-showroom), seeing a price cut of INR 1.75 lakh. All variants of AX7 L trim see a price drop of up to INR 2.2 lakh, bringing down the price to INR 23.49 lakh (ex-showroom).┬аBYD ATTO 3 Launched in India.

Mahindra XUV700 SUV comes with a choice of petrol and diesel engines. The petrol mill is a 2.0-litre, 200 PS unit while the oil burner is a 2.2-litre, 185 PS mHawk engine. The former is offered with automatic transmission only, whereas the diesel version gets both manual and automatic transmissions.
