New Delhi, January 5: Mahindra & Mahindra has officially unveiled the Mahindra XUV 7XO, marking the next step in its flagship internal-combustion three-row SUV line-up. Today, the Mahindra XUV 7XO global premier will take place. Positioned as an evolutionary successor to the popular XUV700, the XUV 7XO aims to offer enhanced technology, comfort, design and safety while remaining competitive in the mid-to-premium SUV segment.
The Mahindra XUV 7XO is built on the same underlying platform as the XUV700 and effectively replaces it in the brand’s internal-combustion SUV portfolio. It is positioned in the INR 20–30 lakh (ex-showroom, expected) segment, targeting buyers seeking a technologically advanced, feature-rich three-row SUV without stepping into luxury-brand pricing. 2026 Kia Seltos Price, Specifications and Features; Here Is Everything To Know About All-New SUV Launched by Kia India.
Mahindra XUV 7XO Specifications and Features
Powering the XUV 7XO are Mahindra’s familiar turbocharged engines. Petrol duties are handled by the 2.0-litre mStallion turbo-petrol engine, which produces around 200 PS of power, while diesel options come from the 2.2-litre mHawk engine delivering up to approximately 185 PS. Both engines are offered with a six-speed manual and a six-speed torque-converter automatic gearbox, and select diesel variants continue to offer an All-Wheel Drive (AWD) option, maintaining the model’s touring and mild off-road capability.
On the outside, the XUV 7XO retains the familiar silhouette of the XUV700 but gains notable updates such as a revised front grille, twin-pod LED projector headlamps with new DRL signatures, and redesigned LED tail lamps connected by a full-width light bar. Minor changes to the bumpers and alloy wheel designs further enhance its premium road presence. Features such as a 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio system with Dolby Atmos, panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, Boss Mode seating, and a Level 2 Sense+ ADAS suite with a 540-degree camera system underline the XUV 7XO’s strong focus on comfort, technology and safety.
