According to Deadline, the movie тАФ which had been announced with the title тАЬGood NewsтАЭ тАФ is the fictionalized story of a rapper, with the story inspired by several late rappers including Miller, Lil Peep, Juice WRLD, Pop Smoke and others.

McCormick shared his anger about a movie seemingly based on his brotherтАЩs tragic death in a post on Instagram Story, writing, тАЬf**k you, f**k your movie,тАЭ adding, тАЬat least change the title.

In response to the request, it appears that the title actually is being changed.

тАЬOur film is about a fictional musician on the rise with a troubled life,тАЭ the filmтАЩs production company, Rivulet Media, said in a statement to E! News.

тАЬItтАЩs not in any way a biopic or based on any artistтАЩs true life.
