Lucknow Shocker: Model Drugged, Gang-Raped in Moving Car, Later Taken to Hotel and Sexually Assaulted Again; 2 Arrested

Lucknow, September 2: A 23-year-old model from Kanpur has accused three men, including her Facebook friend Vipin Singh, of gang-raping her in a Scorpio car and later in a hotel in Lucknow’s Chinhat area. The incident reportedly occurred after the men lured her to the city under the pretext of securing her a job in the film industry.

Hindi Daily Jagran reported that the woman, who aspired to work in Bhojpuri films, had connected with Vipin Singh on social media. He allegedly invited her to Lucknow on August 28, promising an introduction to a film director. While returning, Vipin allegedly invited two other men, Himanshu Singh and Vinay Singh, to join them in the car. The woman claims that the trio drugged her during the ride, rendering her unconscious. When the victim protested, the accused threatened her life and advised her to quietly return to Kanpur. Fearing for her safety, she went back to her hometown, where she reported the incident to her family. They then lodged a complaint with the Chinhat police station.

Two of the accused, Vipin Singh and Himanshu Singh, have been taken into custody. The police are actively searching for the third suspect, Vinay Singh. The investigation is ongoing.
