The Karnataka government on Monday announced that the results of Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) will be out on July 30 and students can get access to their score cards on the office website – kea.kar.nic.in.
The CBSE and ICSE students in the state are asked to upload the marks cards of their 12th standard in the Karnataka Examination Authority( KEA) website by Tuesday. Karnataka Higher Education Minister, Ashwathnarayan took to social media and wrote “The result of Karnataka Common Entrance Test-2022 will be announced on 30th July. CBSE, ICSE students who had written CET are advised to upload their marks on KEA website by June 26. #KCET2022 Result will be available on the following website (Sic)”
Earlier, the KEA had announced that the results of KCET will only be out after CBSE and ICSE boards put out the results of 12th class. The results of both CBSE and ICSE were out last week. In 2022, the KEA will consider 50% of theory marks from CBSE and ICSE results in 12th standard, reported the Indian Express.
KCET is an entrance test conducted by the Karnataka government for the enrollment into undergraduate courses in engineering, architecture, science and technology such as B.Sc, B.Tech, B.Pharma, Business Management and Bachelor of Yoga. The exam was conducted on 16, 17 and 18 of June and a total of 2,16,525 students had registered for the exam this year. 486 Observers, 972 Special Invigilation Squad members, 486 custodians, 9,600 invigilators and a total of 20,483 officials were deployed to discharge the examination duties.
The KEA had also released a provisional answer key to the KCET question paper on June 22

Magisterial probe ordered into arson, blockade by Kanwariyas in Yamunanagar
A day after at least four Kanwariyas were injured in a mishap with a car that was subsequently set on fire by their fellows in Radaur sub-division of Yamunanagar district, deputy commissioner Parth Gupta on Monday ordered a magisterial probe into the incident. Man caught with over 1kg smack in Panipat
The Crime Investigation Agency of Panipat police arrested a man with over 1kg smack from his possession. Police said the recovered contraband costs Rs 1 crore in the market. The accused has been identified as Nitya Nand of Nalanda, Bihar. Panipat superintendent of police Shashank Kumar Sawan said the accused was arrested from the grain market on Sunday. He used to travel by bus and train to avoid checking.
