Hemant Soren took to X, formerly Twitter, to announce the school holiday on Saturday, August 3. “The Meteorological Department has warned of strong winds and heavy rains in most districts of the state tomorrow, August 3, 2024. Your safety is our priority. Therefore, I have decided that all government and private schools across the state will remain closed tomorrow. All citizens are requested to: Avoid unnecessary travel Be alert, be safe. We will face this challenge together,” Soren posted.
