Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s son is following in his footsteps.

Augustus “Gus” Morgan, 11, appeared on “The Walking Dead” as a young walker in the episode “Out Of The Ashes”.

Sharing pictures of Gus in the full makeup and the process to get there, Morgan gushed about his son who he shares with Hilarie Burton.

“My dude. Me, @hilarieburton and George “THATS MY BOY!! We are super proud of Gusy Dean. Thanks to @amcthewalkingdead and @gnicotero for making a dream come true… a damn hoot! Xxjd,” he wrote.

Burton added in the comments, “I know grown ass men who can’t sit in the makeup chair and behave that long!! So proud of our magical little man. He was breathless coming home that day. Best first job, ever!”

“Gus did such a great job – and his interview on Talking Dead was awesome,” Lauren Cohan commented, while Diane Kruger added, “Oh! Even a cute zombie.”

Back in April, Morgan gave fans the first glimpse of Gus on set while they filmed.

“My kid. Just a peek… as a dad, I have to say, I’d be hard pressed to remember a time I’ve been more proud of this dude. Can’t wait for y’all to see him in action,” he wrote on Instagram at the time.

Morgan previously told James Corden how Gus has a “cool little role” during the final season of the hit show.

“My 11-year-old son is going to be the featured walker in episode 5,” he said. “He’s been getting his COVID test so he can be on set and all that. He is so pumped it’s ridiculous.”
