Janata Dal (United) MLA in BiharтАЩs Purnia district, Bima Bharti on Thursday bid a tearful adieu to her pet dog along with her family members.
The family took out the funeral procession of their 20-year-old pet dog Krishna on Thursday and conducted the last rites of the animal according to Hindu customs.

The photograph of the funeral procession was shared by the JD(U) lawmaker on social media.
тАЬHe was like our child and my husband brought it here in 2004 when it was only one year-old,тАЭ the MLA said.
She said, тАЬWe tried our best to save Krishna, but failed. Veterinary doctors who were treating him couldnтАЩt save him and he left us after 19 years on Thursday morning.тАЭ
The MLAтАЩs family said they will observe a 13-day mourning and organise a community feast.
