Jaideep Ahlawat’s Father Passes Away, Actor Devastated As He Rushes To Delhi (VIDEO)

Bollywood actor Jaideep Ahlawat’s father passed away on January 14, 2025. While details about his father remain unknown, the actor was seen rushing to Delhi to be with his family during this difficult time. Spotted at the Delhi airport, Jaideep appeared devastated, wearing a face mask and making calls.
A statement from his team announced the loss, stating, “We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Jaideep Ahlawat’s beloved father. He departed for his heavenly abode surrounded by family and love. Jaideep and his family request privacy during this difficult time as they cope with their profound loss. We thank you for your understanding and prayers.”

In 2024, speaking to actor Saurabh Sachdeva on The Actors Truth, Jaideep revealed that his parents, were teachers, who are now retired. He also credited his father, a former educator, for providing support throughout his acting journey.
Jaideep shared that when he told his parents he wanted to join Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), his father encouraged him and said, “If he fails, he’ll do farming.” He completed his acting graduation from FTII in 2008, where actors Vijay Varma, Sunny Hinduja, and Rajkummar Rao were his acting mates in FTII.
In 2020, Jaideep shared a photo with his father, where both were seen twinning in white outfits. He wrote, “”I am your part, then I will be yours”” —- “Ditto Bauji’s copy Hathiram Chaudhary” —- Babbu is our Stud Launda 😎💥❤️ … Papa.”

On the work front, Jaideep is currently gearing up for the release of his much-loved show Paatal Lok 2, where he will be reprising his role of Hathiram Chaudhary and will stream on Amazon Prime Video starting January 17, 2025.
