The Pune city police on Sunday arrested one person in connection with the murder of an IT company employee, whose body was found at the foot of a hill in Wagholi area on Saturday.
Police said the deceased Gaurav Suresh Udasi (32), who was currently living in Kharadi, was a native of Amravati district.
Probe revealed that Gaurav was to return money to Bhagwan which led to an altercation. Bhagwan and his friend took Gaurav to a secluded spot and allegedly killed Gaurav with a sharp weapon.
An offence of murder was lodged at Lonikand police station. Police arrested – Bhagwan Kendre (23) of Dharashiv district.
