An influencer has claimed she was kicked out of a Dubai shopping mall for being “too sexy”.

Emmy Russ, 22, said she was confronted by security guards who told her that her outfit was inappropriate.

The reality TV star was reportedly wearing a cropped glitter top and a mini skirt when the incident happened, according to German media.

Miss Russ claimed that after entering the mall, she was told by security employees that she could not walk around like that – adding that guards did not let her continue her shopping.

The German star added that security threatened her saying they would call the police, and even gave her a written warning.

Emmy told Bild : “Suddenly a security employee came up completely out of breath and said I was too sexy, and I couldn’t walk around like that.

“They threatened me with the police. I was thrown outside and I received a written warning.”

The written warning the influencer received was a courtesy policy black card by the Dubai Mall saying: “Please wear respectful clothing.”

Miss Russ added: “Then I quickly bought a long T-shirt outside and put it on.

“According to my standards, I didn’t think my outfit was too sexy. When I entered the country, a policeman even flirted with me at the airport.”

Before the incident, the influencer posted a message about her holiday in Dubai, describing the popular holiday destination as a “great country, so much luxury, everything in gold, it is as if made for me”.

She also shared photos of her on holiday with her 188,000 followers on Instagram.

According to German media news website TAG24, the incident was not the first time that Miss Russ was publicly criticised for her clothing.

Reports say she once had to face the police after posing for a photo in a miniskirt while leaning on a patrol vehicle.

She reportedly received a criminal complaint for leaving a dent on the car bonnet that caused several hundred euros in damage, although the charge was later dropped.
