IndiGo Airlines initiated heightened security protocols after receiving bomb threats for two of its flights from Mumbai on October 14. Flight 6E 56, bound for Jeddah, was promptly diverted to an isolated bay at the airport, where standard operating procedures were enacted to ensure the safety of passengers and crew. Simultaneously, another flight, 6E 1275, scheduled for Muscat, was also evacuated under similar security measures. An IndiGo spokesperson confirmed that mandatory security checks were quickly put into place for both aircraft. Authorities are investigating the threats while passengers were safely evacuated and escorted to the terminal.
