India reports 3,207 new Covid-19 cases in last 24 hours, sees dip in number of active cases | India News

NEW DELHI: India reported 3,207 fresh Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, tad lower than the previous day, according to the government data released on Monday.
With 3,410 recoveries in the last 24 hours, the number of active cases came down to 20,403 from 20,635 the previous day, said Union health ministry.

With 29 more fatalities, India’s death toll rose to 5,24,093, said the government data.

At present India’s tally of Covid cases stands at 4,31,05,401.
As many as 1,90,34,90,396 people have been vaccinated against the Covid, including 13,50,622 vaccinations in the last 24 hours.
Also, 3,36,776 tests were done during the previous day.
