‘I Will Not Rest For A Day Till Congress Comes Back To Power’, Says MP Congress State Prez Jitu Patwari (WATCH)

Badnawar (Madhya Pradesh): Congress state president Jitu Patwari, on Sunday, visited the town and chaired a meeting with block Congress committee and city Congress committee for preparations of party’s general meeting to be held in Mhow on January 27.

Kick-starting his address with slogan ‘Jai Bhim, Jai Bapu, Jai Samvidhaan’, Patwari said that it is the topic of importance as to why the party has not come into power for the past 20 years, we need to bring changes in the party. Patwari said that the party needs to bring radical change on a lower-level in the party’s interest. In the changed system, new workers will be given a chance and hard-working workers will be given encouragement.

A ‘mohalla’ committee will be formed to strengthen the party. He also called upon workers to participate in the upcoming event in Mhow in large number. He also praised workers for maintaining enthusiasm despite not being in the government. The meeting was attended by former cabinet minister Sajjan Singh Verma, Dhar district president Kamal Kishore Patidar, MLA Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat and others also addressed the gathering. Addressing partymen, MLA Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat said that party workers need to come on the streets to fight for problems of the people.

He said that Congress was the first to protest against the incineration of UCC waste. He took a jibe at the Central government for closing various government schemes and not providing financial assistance under Sambhal Yojana, widow pension and old age pension scheme. The meeting was conducted by Kailash Gupta. City Congress president Mukesh Hoti expressed his gratitude.
