Hyderabad: Woman Dies, Several Others Fall Sick After Eating Momos At Roadside Stall in Banjara Hills, 6 Arrested
A woman, Reshma Begum, tragically died, and several others fell ill after eating momos from a roadside stall in Hyderabad’s Banjara Hills. Six individuals, including Almas (23), Sajid Hussain, and others, were arrested by the Banjara Hills police for operating the stall in Khairatabad. Reshma and her two daughters became ill after consuming the momos, with Reshma succumbing to her illness while her daughters recovered. Following the incident on October 28, police charged the accused with culpable homicide and sealed the stall. The suspects, migrants from Bihar who ran the outlet for livelihood, are now in judicial custody, according to ACP S Venkat Reddy.
