The incident occurred on Saturday, October 26, evening around 7 p.m. when a man, reportedly intoxicated, arrived at the petrol pump with a lighter. According to the police report, an employee at the station observed a drunk man with a lighter and, in a reckless dare, asked him to light it if he had the courage. In response, the man ignited the lighter, causing flames to erupt near the fuel dispenser. Surveillance footage captured a distressing moment when a nearby woman and her child recoiled in fear as flames surged dangerously close to them. The police have detained two individuals, identified as Chiran and Arun, both originally from Bihar, in connection with the incident.
