Multiple cars were floating in the River Ganga in Haridwar as rain wreaked havoc in Uttarakhand. Several videos of the vehicles being washed away in the Ganga River have surfaced on social media. The monsoon entered Uttarakhand on June 27. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicted intense rain spells across the state till July 4.
