‘Great demand’ for international borders to be removed and travel to resume

Western Sydney Airport CEO Simon Hickey says “there’s great demand to get back out there to travel” and if international borders are removed, Qantas and Virgin “will come back quite strongly”.

“I’ve lived through SARS, I’ve lived through 9/11, I’ve lived through the GFC… we travel because of those human relationships. Business travel is very resilient,” he said.
