Global Announces New And Returning Shows Including Global Original тАШFamily LawтАЩ, тАШCSI: VegasтАЩ And тАШNew AmsterdamтАЩ

TV is coming back in a big way this fall.

On Tuesday, Global announced its lineup for the 2021/22 season, including a host of new and returning series.

The slate of new scripted programming will include the highly-anticipated тАЬCSIтАЭ sequel series тАЬCSI: VegasтАЭ, which will bring back original stars William Petersen, Jorja Fox and Wallace Langham to usher in a new team of forensic investigators.

Also premiering this fall as spin-offs are тАЬNCIS: HawaiтАЩiтАЭ, starring Vanessa Lachey, and тАЬFBI: InternationalтАЭ, which expands the world of the Dick Wolf franchise.

The slate also features the brand new Global Original series тАЬFamily LawтАЭ, starring an all-Canadian cast including Jewel Staite, Victor Garber, Zach Smadu, Genelle Williams and Lauren Holly.

Shot and set in Vancouver, the 10-episode, one-hour drama┬аfollows a dysfunctional family who reluctantly work together at their fatherтАЩs law firm to help other equally dysfunctional families.

Global┬аwill also premiere the new comedy series тАЬGhostsтАЭ, starring Rose McIver and Utkarsh Ambudkar, as a cheerful freelance journalist and up-and-coming chef from the city, respectively, who both throw caution and money to the wind when they decide to convert a huge rundown country estate they inherited into a bed & breakfast тАУ only to find itтАЩs inhabited by the many spirits of deceased residents who now call it home. The show is based on the original British series of the same name.

Along with the new shows, Global is bringing back fan favourites, including тАЬ9-1-1тАЭ, тАЬNew AmsterdamтАЭ, тАЬSurvivorтАЭ, тАЬS.W.A.T.тАЭ, тАЬSEAL TeamтАЭ, тАЬThe EqualizerтАЭ, the тАЬNCISтАЭ and тАЬFBIтАЭ franchises and more.

Looking ahead to 2022, Global will air the new drama тАЬGood SamтАЭ about a gifted heart surgeon played by Sophia Bush, who is tasked with supervising her egotistical former boss, played by Jason Isaacs, after he wakes up from a coma and demands his job back.

тАЬSmallwoodтАЭ,┬аbased on professional bowler Tom SmallwoodтАЩs life, stars Pete Holmes as Tom, a stoic Midwest husband and dad who gets laid off from a car assembly line and makes the extraordinary decision to provide for his family by following his dream of becoming a professional bowler.

Other shows include the reality competition тАЬCome Dance With MeтАЭ, executive produced by LL Cool J and Chris OтАЩDonnell, the workplace comedy тАЬAbbott ElementaryтАЭ, and the historical drama тАЬWomen of the MovementтАЭ, which tells the true story of┬аMamie Till-Mobley, who risks her life to find justice after her son Emmett Till is brutally murdered in the Jim Crow South.

In daytime and late-night, Global will also bring back a number of shows, including тАЬThe Drew Barrymore ShowтАЭ, тАЬThe TalkтАЭ, тАЬTamron HallтАЭ and тАЬRachael RayтАЭ, as well as тАЬDays of Our LivesтАЭ, тАЬThe Young and the RestlessтАЭ and the new season of тАЬThe Late Show with Stephen ColbertтАЭ.

The flagship тАЬGlobal NationalтАЬ will also continue daily broadcasts across Canada, along with the weekend in-depth news show тАЬThe New RealityтАЭ and the Sunday political affairs talk show тАЬThe West BlockтАЭ.

Mornings will see the return of the popular тАЬThe Morning ShowтАЭ, hosted by Jeff McArthur and Carolyn MacKenzie.

ET Canada will also return for its 17th season hosted by Cheryl Hickey, with Roz Weston, Sangita Patel, Carlos Bustamante, Keshia Chant├й, Graeme OтАЩNeil and Morgan Hoffman.
