This morning’s sighting of the former President comes after he and First Lady Michelle Obama, took in the sights of Sydney yesterday, despite the wet weather.
They visited Prime Minister Anthony Albanese at Kirribilli House where they discusses issues such as the global economy and the Russian invasion of Ukraine, as well as posing for joint photos.
The power couple’s multi-vehicle motorcade drew eyes as it moved through Sydney yesterday.
The two-term former president is accompanied not only by plain-clothes US Secret Service operatives, but also by Australian state and federal police, while he’s visiting.
They visited a beach near Manly and then stopped at Balmoral for lunch, attracting a crowd of photo-hungry Sydney-siders.
The Obamas are in the country for Barack’s “An Evening with President Obama” tour.
Aussies with tickets to the hotly-anticipated event have forked out almost $200 for a standard seat, with tickets priced at a whopping $895 for a “platinum” spot.
Barack’s first event will be held in Sydney at about 8pm tonight, leaving the Obamas another day to take in Sydney.
They will jet off to Melbourne for a second night afterwards.
