Ford tops in 2022 vehicle recalls, NHTSA reports

As of Dec. 19, vehicle manufacturers had issued 390 recalls, affecting more than 25 million U.S. vehicles in 2022. Some of those vehicles might be part of more than 1 recall campaign. Here’s a breakdown of the top 12 companies that issued most of those recalls.
