Elon Musk’s xAI Hiring AI Tutors From India With Fluency in Hindi and English Languages To Train Artificial Intelligence, Offering USD 35 to USD 65 per Hour

San Francisco, October 31: Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk is reportedly hiring people from India as tutors who are fluent in Hindi and English. Musk, who recently increased his net worth to USD 270 billion by a 22% jump in Tesla shares, will reportedly recruit candidates for xAI, his startup company involved in developing artificial intelligence since its foundation on March 9, 2023. xAI has launched its Grok chatbot, offering integration with social media platform X. The company recently unveiled the world’s largest AI supercomputer called ‘Colossus’ featuring 1,00,000 

NVIDIA Hopper GPUs, which would double in size to 2,00,000, will soon train the Grok AI chatbot.  According to a report by ET, the San Francisco Bay Area-based startup would hire AI tutors to expand its database. In terms of salary, the company would pay around INR 5,500 per hour for the work. xAI AI Tutor Job Responsibilities 

Grok AI is currently available in English; however, with training, it may also be introduced in other popular global languages. Once selected, the tutors must provide quality and well-labelled data to enhance the artificial intelligence in English and others. Elon Musk’s xAI would reportedly hire people for other languages, including Chinese, German, Persian, Indonesian, French, Turkish, Portuguese, Spanish and Arabic. 

Qualifications for xAI AI Tutor Role 

Those who think about applying must meet the required qualifications. They need to have experience in technical writing, professional writing, and journalism. The candidates must be proficient in English and other languages. The report said that they would also need strong research skills and the ability to search through various information sources and databases. 

Pay Package for Role 

Elon Musk’s xAI would reportedly hire AI tutors, paying around USD 35 to USD 65 per hour. Additionally, the employees would receive all the benefits offered to full-time employees, such as dental coverage, vision, medical, short—or long-term disability, and life insurance. The employees will be offered the opportunity to work as full-time employees for a temporary period and can work remotely. It was recently reported that the company is planning to expand its operations by building robust artificial intelligence and competing with market players like OpenAI, Meta, and Microsoft. According to recent reports, xAI was seeking to raise funds to reach a USD 40 billion valuation.
