Meanwhile, Doja’s ‘shimmering, scintillating and subversive’ Schiaparelli look – covered in 30,000 hand-applied Swarovski crystals and red body paint – took four hours and 58 minutes to achieve. Makeup artist Pat McGrath even shared the entire process on social media and commended the rapper for her inspiring ‘patience and dedication’.
Talking about the full look, it featured a corseted bodice, a beaded skirt, knee-high leather boots, a floor-sweeping train and gemstone-adorned dangling earrings. It is not the first time Doja has impressed and shocked everyone with her experimental style. And we are sure there’s more to come.
