The former Newtown home of singer and radio announcer Denis Walter has sold in a quick campaign.
Tandara, the two-storey Federation era weatherboard residence at 352 Shannon Ave, was snapped up this week after spending less than a week on the market.
The 900sq m property at the intersection with Noble St was listed with $1.559 million price hopes, but the Advertiser understands it sold significantly above that mark.
