Delhi Assembly Elections 2025: Arvind Kejriwal Urges AAP Workers To Buckle Up To Thwart BJP’s Plan in Polls, Launches #PhirLayengeKejriwal Campaign

New Delhi, November 8: Aam Aadmi Party National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal issued a special message for party workers and supporters across the country, on Friday. Through the message he emphasized unity, strength, and resilience as the party gears up for the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections. Reflecting on the recent challenges, Arvind Kejriwal also expressed his gratitude for the unwavering support from the AAP family, calling on them to meet future challenges with courage.

Following the AAP National Convenor’s call, the party officially launched the #PhirLayengeKejriwal campaign through its social media handles. Volunteers can register on or give a Missed Call 7277972779 to join ‘Team Kejriwal’. Arvind Kejriwal Sounds Poll Bugle in Delhi, Calls on AAP Workers To Give Their Best To Bring Party Back To Power.

Speaking warmly to party members, Arvind Kejriwal expressed his long-awaited desire to connect with party members following his release from jail. Reflecting on the past two years, he stated, “The past two years have been the most difficult period we have gone through.” He acknowledged that while he was able to meet some workers personally, he regretted not being able to meet all of them.

He shared profound insights on facing challenges, saying, “But as they say, God gives challenges only to His most beloved devotees to test them.” He drew parallels from history, referencing Raja Harishchandra’s trials, and emphasized that hardships are meant to strengthen individuals for future challenges. “Therefore, we should not fear hardships; we must face them bravely,” he urged. ‘AAP Is the Only Hope for Our Country’: AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal Addresses Party Supporters and Workers, Urges Them To Prepare for Delhi Assembly Elections (Watch Video).

He added that the entire party has faced these difficulties with great courage, and today, all Aam Aadmi Party workers have become even more united and resilient as a family. “But when I meet the workers, I feel overwhelmed by the emotion in their eyes and the love they have for me in their hearts. The determination on their faces shows the courage to face even the greatest of challenges ahead. We will fight, and we will win. I know you love me very much, and I love you all dearly too. May nothing cast a shadow on the bond we share. We must make this bond our strength,” he said.

Looking ahead to the Delhi Assembly elections, Arvind Kejriwal urged the AAP family to stay united, warning that opposition forces would put all their strength into challenging the party. “They will do everything in their power to defeat us, but we must not let them succeed,” he affirmed.

Arvind Kejriwal underscored AAP’s commitment to addressing real issues in Indian politics, asserting that the party represents a “breath of fresh air.” He noted that for the first time in 75 years, the public is hearing discussions around issues that matter most—education, healthcare, electricity, water, and infrastructure. “AAP has shown what a committed, honest government can accomplish for the people,” he said, reiterating the party’s dedication to public service.

He encouraged supporters from Delhi and beyond to devote as much time as possible to the campaign, suggesting that those from outside the city make arrangements to stay with friends or relatives in Delhi to assist with election efforts. “Be prepared to sacrifice everything—your body, mind, and resources—for the nation if needed. For the Delhi elections, if possible, take leave from work and dedicate a few months entirely to this election. People from outside Delhi can arrange to stay with a friend or relative in Delhi for a few months. People in Delhi can also take leave and devote full time to the elections. If you can’t give full time, then contribute a few hours daily or a few hours every week. Even if that’s not possible, try to give a few hours every day from your home. We will assign tasks according to your convenience.”

He advised workers to find strength in spirituality whenever they feel weak or disheartened. “Whenever you feel weak, discouraged, or angry, just silently chant the name of Lord Ram. There is great strength in the name of Lord Ram; you will feel calm instantly. You can take the name of your own deity, be it Guru Nanak, Allah, or whomever you have faith in.”

In his concluding message, Arvind Kejriwal invoked Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, expressing his appreciation for the Constitution and the values it enshrines. He went on to read a couplet for Babasaheb, saying, “The honor I hold was granted by your Constitution, the respect I carry flows from your Constitution. Others may owe their fortune to destiny, but my destiny was forged by your Constitution. Neither the joy of life nor the sorrow of death will sway me; as long as I draw breath, I will proclaim ‘Jai Bhim’.” Closing with a message of hope, Arvind Kejriwal said, “I am confident that victory will be ours.”
