Daredevil driver demonstrates a U-turn on a narrow road

A daredevil driver completed a mesmerising 26-point turn while teetering over the edge of a steep drop, leaving viewers barely able to watch.

In the video, which quickly went viral, the driver painstakingly inched forward and backwards several times on the tiny road.

Several times the car has a wheel go over the cliff face before it moves forward again by inches, making use of every tiny piece of road available.

Eventually, the driver has enough space to continue his journey.

The hair-raising video, believed to have been shot in Hong Kong, was uploaded on channel DrivingSkill on YouTube and has already racked up over 18 million views.

It has also gone viral on Twitter with most people saying they could barely watch as the motorist tried to turn around on the tiny patch of space in the people carrier.

Another commented: “Someone give him a bravery award please.”

Jyoti Singh said: “I couldn’t watch, the stress nearly killed me.”

Plotakio Trionqui said: “I am impressed with his driving skills; I am most impressed with his insanity.

“Sometimes people are healthy and happy, but they have to find creative ways to put that in jeopardy.”

Others pointed out the insanity and dangerous nature of his driving.

Dee Mwango said: “Speechless, how life can be risked.”

Although most people were impressed, several pointed out it would have been easier for the driver to have just reversed down the road.

One said: “As impressive as this is, surely he would have been safer to have just reversed all the way down and then turned around. This is just madness.”

Meanwhile, in the UK, a woman who failed a driving test in London rebooked at the “UK’s easiest test” – and failed again.

Constance Kampfner travelled ten hours to the Isle of Mull, off the west coast of Scotland, after finding out it only had a single roundabout on the route.

But after her 500-mile journey, the instructor told her: “I don’t like to talk about people who fail their tests. Think of it as just not passing.”
