Cyclone Dana made landfall in Odisha on Thursday midnight. After the landfall, the severe cyclonic storm Dana weakened into a cyclonic storm after completing the landfall process in Odisha. Speaking about cyclone Dana, Manorama Mohanty, Director of IMD, said the landfall process went on from yesterday midnight to 8.30 AM today, October 25. “It has now weakened to a cyclonic storm. In the next 6 hours, it will weaken into a deep depression,” she said. Mohanty further said that rainfall will continue for the next 24 hours and reduce drastically by tomorrow, October 26.
