As the people of Karnataka cast their votes on Wednesday for the assembly elections, the Congress party exuded confidence in itself by using the hashtag “Congress Winning 150” along with their posts on social media.
“Namaskara. Today is your day! Ensure that the state of Karnataka wins today. Choose Progress. #CongressWinning150,” the party posted from its official Twitter handle, sharing pictures of the party chief Mallikarjun Kharge and his family after they had casted their votes in Kalaburagi’s Basava Nagar.
“The people of Karnataka are fed up and devastated, so they want the Congress party to come to the government. We will fulfil our promise of five guarantees in the first cabinet itself. The Congress party will win the election with a huge majority,” the Congress President said.

“I’ve been voting at that polling booth for the last 55 years. Seeing the enthusiasm of the people, I feel that my party will come to power and we will win with the majority. Poor people live there and my principle is to give my vote to the poor, that is why I and my wife go there every time to give our vote,” he added.
The Congress party also shared pictures of Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) chief D K Shivakumar and Leader of Opposition Siddaramaiah showing off their inked fingers after casting their votes.
