A man who claims to be Prince Charles and Camilla’s secret son has said he has been told he looks “like a royal”.
Simon Dorante-Day, 55, has spent decades trying to prove his bizarre theory – and even defended it on television.
The engineer, now based in Queensland, Australia, was born in Portsmouth in 1966, reports the Daily Star.
He was then adopted by a family with links to Buckingham Palace – and claims the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall are his parents.
The father-of-nine alleges that his new grandmother told him about his royal bloodline – despite the fact the pair were just teenagers at the time.

Facebook users recently shared photos of Simon as a schoolchild and compared them to pictures of Charles and Camilla.
A snap of him alongside a young Queen Elizabeth was also posted, with one person saying: “I can certainly see the proof in all the photos.”
Another user said “you have the Queen’s eyes” and a third called him “Camilla’s double”.
Reacting to the photos, Simon told 7NEWS.com.au : “I’m always getting recognised.
“I got photographed by another passenger on a train last week, on my way to Family Court. He was even videoing me at one point.”
He added: “I’ve travelled all around the world and I’ve always had people stop me and say ‘Gee you look familiar’ – without being able to put a finger on it.
“Some used to tell me point blank that I looked like a royal, without knowing my story. It’s been a common occurrence throughout my life.”
Simon was conceived in 1965, when the Prince of Wales was just 17 and Camilla was 18.
Despite this being five years before the royal couple are understood to have met, Mr Dorante-Day claims Camilla fell pregnant and kept it a secret.
During this period, he says, Charles was sent to Australia and Camilla disappeared from the public eye for nine months.
In actual fact, the Duchess was pictured at numerous points throughout the year, and was notably a debutante in London on March 25, 1965.
Simon also claims his adoptive grandparents, Winifred and Ernest, worked in the Queen’s household – suggesting Ernest receiving an Imperial Service Award, although there is no official record of this.
He said last month on Facebook that Mother’s Day had been “hard” for him.
Simon also claimed his “truth” would have been revealed if it wasn’t for the death of Princess Diana in 1997.
“We believe that Diana knew of my existence and that she had put the pieces together,” he said.
“I think Diana was at a point where she was finding out answers about her life, how she was wronged, and she was going to go public with it.”
Charles and Camilla married in 2005.
