Chamba, Rampur, Hamirpur, Kasauli, Shimla Rural Elections 2022: Check Electoral History, Result Date of the Himachal Pradesh Assembly Seats

Shimla, December 4: Polling in Chamba, Rampur, Hamirpur, Kasauli, Shimla Rural and 63 other assembly constituencies in Himachal Pradesh was held on November 12 in a single phase. All eyes are on the result day when fate of candidates from the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Congress, AAP, and other parties will be decided. The Himachal Pradesh assembly elections results 2022, including outcomes of Chamba, Rampur, Hamirpur, Kasauli, Shimla Rural assembly seats, will be declared on December 8.

Chamba Election 2022:

In the 2017 assembly elections, Pawan Nayyar of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) had won from the Chamba assembly constituency in Himachal Pradesh. This year, the party has fielded Neelam Nayyar from this seat. The Congress has given its ticket to Neeraj Nayar while Shasi Kant is fighting from the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP)’s ticket. The BSP has nominated Paras Ram from the Chamba assembly constituency. Rampur Election 2022:

Congress candidate Nand Lal had won from the Rampur assembly constituency in the last elections held in 2017. This year again, the Congress has again given its ticket to Nand Lal with the hope of retaining the Rampur seat. The BJP has nominated Kaul Singh from Rampur while Uday Singh is contesting on AAP’s ticket. A total of 5 candidates are in the fray from Chamba assembly seat.

Hamirpur Election 2022:

BJP’s Narinder Thakur had won from the Hamirpur assembly constituency in Himachal Pradesh in the elections that were held in 2017. This year, the BJP has again given its ticket to Thakur with an aim to win the Hamirpur seat even this time. The Congress has nominated Pushpinder Verma from Hamirpur while Sushil Kumar Surroch is contesting on AAP’s ticket. Kasauli Election 2022:

In the last election in 2017, Rajiv Saizal of the BJP won the Kasauli seat. This time too the BJP has laid its trust in Saizal and has given him the ticket to contest from this seat. Vinod Sultanpuri has been nominated by the Congress to fight from this seat while the Aam Aadmi Party has given its ticket to Harmel Singh. The Bahujan Samaj Party has given its ticket to Ram Rattan. A total of 7 candidates are in the fray from the Kasauli assembly seat this year.

Shimla Rural Election 2022:

Vikramaditya Singh of the Congress had won from the Shimla Rural assembly constituency in the last assembly elections held in 2017. This year too, the Congress has reposed faith in Singh and has given him the ticket to contest from the Shimla Rural seat. The BJP has fielded Ravi Kumar Mehta while the AAP has nominated Prem Kumar. The BSP has given its ticket to Balvinder Kumar Singh. A total of 6 candidates are in the fray from the Kasauli assembly seat this year.
