With his role in The Mummy films and now currently starring in Doom Patrol, the Brenaissance is upon us. George (George of the Jungle)
Getting up to his silly and goofy antics in the jungle, Fraser played the forest hunk George who was pretty much a riff on Tarzan. Swinging from vines to vines and crashing into trees, his hilarious portrayal of George was a riot that had many laughing.
Adam Webber (Blast from the Past)
Playing the role of a man who is raised in a fallout shelter for the entirety of his life, Fraser’s portrayal of Adam Webber had this fish-out-of-the-water charm to him that made the character so much better. With a romance at the center and some great comedic beats, Blast from the Past is a fun watch.
Clayton Boone (Gods and Monsters)
Switching gears into one of his more serious roles, Fraser portrayed the role of Clayton Boone in Gods and Monsters. Starring alongside Ian McKellen who played James Whale, on whom the film was based on, Fraser was able to strike up a nice chemistry with the legend and bring about a complicated friendship to life which became one of the beloved stars best performances.
Rick O’Connell (The Mummy Trilogy)
One of the finest action icons of our time, Rick O’Connell defined The Mummy trilogy. Charming, smart, funny and a dash of style, Fraser’s turn as Rick is what made him into the huge star we know. Defining an entire franchise of films, Fraser made Rick too into the modern action-icon he is.
Cliff Steele (Doom Patrol)
Perhaps Fraser’s best role till date, his turn as Cliff Steele in DC Comics’ Doom Patrol immediately made fans fall in love with him. While voicing the cyborg while appearing in his human form in the flashbacks, Fraser portrays this tragic character in a hilarious way while amping up the seriousness when needed.
