Mumbai, September 27: BMW has confirmed the official launch of its BMW iX1 on September 28, 2023. Tomorrow, the company will unveil the official all-electric car. After successfully launching BMW iX in India, the company will likely set a new bar for future electric vehicles. The iX1 model is expected to follow the previous models’ design but have better features.
According to the reports, the new BMW all-electric car is likely to be powered by a 64.7kWh battery that is able to generate 313 bhp peak power and 494 Nm maximum torque. The reports further say the new car can go from 0 to 100 within just 5.3 seconds. It also comes with AWD system, LED Headlights, a new Grille, and LED DRLs. BMW iX1 (U11 BEV) Specifications and Features:
BMW has listed the BMW iX1 (U11 BEV) on the USA and UK websites, including their specifications. The new BMW iX1 U11 BEV variant listed on the websites offers up to 438 km range per single charge. As per the website, the car is able to provide 120 km if charged for 10 minutes, and the 80% battery will be charged for just 29 minutes at the public charging stations. The fast charging is possible at a compatible US at Chargefox Ultra Rapid DC Charging stations. The front design of the vehicle offers Adaptive LED highlights for a powerful look.
On the backside, the BMW iX1 model has L-shaped taillights with a modern look. The interior comes with intuitive control, with the BMW Curved Display offering touch and voice control. The luggage compartment is also spacious due to options of folding doors and rear set reclining angle adjustments. The US and UK models support Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. BMW iX1 Expected Price in India:
BMW has launched its iX1 to £53,295, which can be roughly converted to Rs 53,85,033. As per the USA pricing, the BMW iX1 xDrive30 car model is sold at $91,885, which is approximately Rs 76,44,542. So, from the comparison, the car may launch in India starting from Rs 50 lakh or 75 lakh (ex-showroom). The official pricing of the car depends on the location, variant and many other factors.
