According to the government, KR Puram – Whitefield metro line will have seven trains running with the time frequency of 10 – 12 minutes. This new metro line will reduce the travel time between KR Puram and Whitefield, which is usually a bottle neck for regular commuters. The KR Puram – Whitefield metro line is of 13.2 kilometers and will have 12 metro stations.
