Bengaluru Power Cut on October 19: Parts of City to Face Power Outage on Saturday, Check Timings and List of Affected Areas

Bengaluru, October 18: Residents of several Bengaluru neighbourhoods will experience power cut on Saturday, October 19, due to emergency maintenance work at two substations, according to officials from the Bengaluru Electricity Supply Company (BESCOM).

From 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, areas surrounding the 66/11 KV Shobha City substation will be affected. These areas include Shobha City, Chokkanahalli, Domino’s Pizza in Paradise Noor Nagar, Ex-Servicemen Layout, Police Quarters, RK Hegde Nagar, Shabari Nagar, New Shanti Nagar, Kempegowda Layout, Nagenahalli Village, Regency Park, Esther Harmonic Layout, Balaji Layout, and several other nearby localities. Bengaluru Rains: Traffic Police Request Commuters To Use Alternate Roads As Balagere Panathur Road Turns Into a River Following Heavy Rains in Bangalore (See Pics and Video).

Similarly, power outages are scheduled between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM in areas near the 66/11 KV Brigade Metropolis Station. Additionally, between 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM, maintenance on the power transformer at the Brigade Metropolis Station will cause disruptions in the Doddanekundi Industrial Area, Alpine Eco Road, Friends Layout, Kundanhalli Main Road, and several other industrial and residential areas.

Residents in affected areas are advised to make necessary arrangements during the outage hours, as electricity services will be unavailable. BESCOM has assured that maintenance is essential to improve service quality and reliability.
