Former Karnataka CM Bommai not to attend emergency meeting on Cauvery dispute
Former chief minister of Karnataka Basavaraj Bommai on Wednesday said he would not be able to attend the special emergency meeting called by the state government regarding the ongoing Cauvery river water dispute with neighbouring state Tamil Nadu.
“The state government has called a meeting late last night to discuss the Cauvery dispute. However, I am not able to attend the meeting called by the government as I have participated in the pre-arranged program of my constituency,” he posted on social media site X.
