An 11-year-old boy died on Sunday, September 22, after an iron gate collapsed on him at the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP)-run ground in Bengaluru’s Malleshwaram. “The incident occurred around 4 pm yesterday, at the Malleswaram BBMP ground when the boy had come to the field to play,” Bengaluru City North Division DCP Saidulu Adavath said. “The Malleswaram Police visited the spot where the incident took place and conducted an investigation,” Adavath added.
