Bajaj Freedom 125 CNG Bike Waiting Period Increases up to 3 Month; Check Availability of World’s First CNG Bike in Indian States

New Delhi, July 18: The Bajaj Freedom 125 CNG bike was launched in India on July 5, 2024, with the option to switch between CNG and petrol fuel options seamlessly. The Bajaj CNG bike retained a contemporary design, innovative tech packing and an extended seat for comfortable riding. The Bajaj Freedom 125 CNG motorcycle is one of a kind in India and it is the world’s first CNG motorcycle. According to a report, the waiting period for Bajaj’s new CNG bike reached up to three months in India.

The Bajaj bi-fuel bike was introduced at a starting price of INR 95,000 for the entry-level NG04 drum variant that featured halogen lights. On the other hand, the Freedom 125 NG04 Drum LED variant was launched at INR 1.05 lakh, and the top Freedom 125 NG04 Drum LED variant was priced at INR 1.10 lakh. Bajaj Freedom 125 CNG Waiting Period 

Bajaj CNG bike booking started with a token amount of INR 1,000 for locations like Mumbai, Pune, and selected cities in Gujarat. Based on the high demand, the waiting period of each region has changed, according to a report by AutoX. In Mumbai, the Bajaj Freedom CNG motorcycle has a waiting period of 20-30 days. On the other hand, the waiting period in Pune is around 30-45 days. Bajaj Freedom 125 CNG Engine Specifications

Bajaj launched the world’s first CNG bike, with a 125cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine, a 2-litre tank, and a 2-kg CNG cylinder. The motorcycle provides 9.4bhp power and a peak torque of 9.7Nm. With the engine and CNG capabilities, Bajaj Auto claimed that the Freedom 125 CNG bike would offer up to 300 km mileage, and on petrol, it would offer 65 km per litre.
