New Delhi, August 21: The Audi Q8 e-tron has been launched in India. The German luxury auto behemoth brought the new Audi Q8 e-tron in our shores after its recent global launch. With the launch of these new EV models, Audi India has expanded its e-tron lineup which now has 6 luxury all-electric car models, including the Audi e-tron GT and Audi RS e-tron GT.

Audi Q8 e-tron – Variants & Price Details
The Audi Q8 e-tron is offered in four variants – Audi Q8 50 e-tron, Audi Q8 55 e-tron, Audi Q8 Sportback 50 e-tron and Audi Q8 Sportback 55 e-tron.
The Audi Q8 e-tron has been priced starting at Rs 11,370,000 for the base Audi Q8 50 e-tron variant, Rs 11,820,000 for the Audi Q8 Sportback 50 e-tron, Rs 12,610,000 for the Audi Q8 55 e-tron and Rs 13,060,000 for the top-end Audi Q8 Sportback 55 (all prices, ex-showroom).
Audi Q8 e-tron – Exterior Design
The new Audi Q8 e-tron flaunts and elegant and imposing styling featuring a signature Single Frame mask, Audi Single Frame projection lights alongside Digital Matrix LED headlights with impressive animated lighting projections. The luxury EVs are offered in a total of 9 exterior colour choices – Siam Beige, Glacier White, Mythos Black, Madeira Brown, Chronos Grey, Magnet Grey, Manhattan Grey, Soneira Red and Plasma Blue. Audi Q8 e-tron – Interior, Features & Technology
The luxurious interior of the Audi Q8 e-tron range is offered in three colour themes, namely – Okapi Brown, Pearl Beige and Black. The cabin offers premium Valcona & Milano leather seat upholstery, while customers can also opt for leather and leatherette combination upholstery as well.
The newly launched Audi Q8 e-tron range comes with an array of superb features and tech to offer a luxurious and connected drive experience, which includes Park Assist Plus, 3D surround-view cameras, Gesture-controlled boot lid, Air ionizer and aromatization, 4-zone climate control, front seat passengers with seat ventilation with a massage feature, Audi Phone Box with wireless charging and panoramic sunroof.
Audi Q8 e-tron – Powertrain, Battery & Charging
The Audi Q8 55 e-tron and Audi Q8 Sportback 55 e-tron offers a combined power of 408hp and 664Nm of peak torque, while the Audi Q8 50 e-tron and Audi Q8 Sportback 50 e-tron deliver 340hp and 664Nm torque. The new Q8 e-tron models boast of the iconic e-quattro all-wheel drive system along with three Audi Drive Select models – auto, dynamic and off-road.
The EVs draw power from a 114 kW battery pack, which is the largest in the segment and offers up to 600km of range (WLTP certified). The Audi Q8 55 e-tron and Audi Q8 Sportback 55 e-tron offer a range of up to 582 km and 600 km respectively. On the other hand, the Audi Q8 50 e-tron and Audi Q8 Sportback 50 e-tron both come with a 95 kWh lithium-ion battery, which delivers a range of up to 491 km and 505 km respectively, (all range WLTP certified)
The luxury EVs come with charging capacities of up to 22kW AC and 170kW DC, while a 26 minutes charging can make the battery go from 20% to 80%. Audi is also offering complimentary charging for Audi Q8 e-tron for all the customers till the end of this year at over 1000 charging stations across India.
