ATK Mohun Bagan lifted their maiden Indian Super League title on Saturday when they defeated Bengaluru FC 2-2 (4-3 on penalties). The club from West Bengal was runners-up in the 2020-21 edition of the tournament. Dimitri Petratos was the hero of the night for ATKMB, as he coolly slotted in both penalties (14′ and 85′) to force extra time in the title clash. Sunil Chhetri, the Bengaluru captain, had scored the first goal for the side barely seconds before the first half, while Roy Krishna had given them the lead in the 78th minute.
