Supporters of Arsenal chanted and placed banners outside the club’s Emirates Stadium in London on Monday, April 19, during demonstrations against the proposed Super League. Twelve teams announced on Sunday that they would be joining the breakaway Super League competition. Another three clubs were projected to join, for a total of 15 founding members. Five additional teams would be allowed qualify annually, the group said.
