A warrant issued for the arrest of former AFL player Jack Watts in South Australia has been rescinded.
Watts is facing charges of driving without due care and failing to report a crash after an incident last year.
He allegedly struck a parked car while driving, causing minor damage.
An arrest warrant was issued today after he “failed to appear in court” however it has now been withdrawn.
His lawyer told a magistrate the 30-year-old was not served a summons and had been waiting for it to be issued by Henley Beach Police Station.
It is understood the former No.1 draft pick is in Melbourne and he recently played for Old Brighton in the VAFA competition.
The former Melbourne and Port Adelaide player retired from the AFL last year after playing 174 games.
