Apoorva Mukhija Apologises, Cries In Her Latest Video; Reveals Kala Jaadu Was Done On Her (Watch)

Content creator and actress Apoorva Mukhija made it to the headlines because of the India’s Got Latent controversy. On April 1, 2025, she deleted all her posts on Instagram, and on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, she made a comeback on social media and shared screenshots of death threats and rape threats that she received from netizens. She also shared another post which read, “Don’t take away the story from the storyteller.” On Wednesday, she shared a video on her YouTube channel in which she opened up about how she got India’s Got Latent, what happened with her after the controversy, and a lot more.

How Apoorva Was Approached For India’s Got Latent?

Apoorva revealed that last year during an event she had met Samay Raina who approached her to some on India’s Got Latent. Later, for a few weeks, Raina didn’t contact her, but she then messaged the comedian about it who told her that he is in London and once he comes back, they will shoot the episode.

The actress was supposed to to travel with her family for Dev Diwali and during the same time she was called for IGL shoot. She was so excited to be a part of the show that she cancelled her plans.

Apoorva reveals that when she went for the shoot, and after sometime when she went in her green room she started crying in front of her manager and friends and that she is not funny for the show. But, later Samay told her to calm down.

Further in the video, she apologised to the fans and said, “I genuinely create content to entertain people and to make them laugh I never wanted to hurt anybody and I’m very very sorry I should have been more mindful of my words but I have learned my lesson and I promise I will do better going forward. I just hope you guys can forgive me and I am very sorry if I hurt your sentiments.”

Apoorva Gets Emotional While Talking About Her Father

She has revealed that when her video of coming out from the police station went viral, her father started calling her, but she didn’t pick up thinking that her father will shout at her. However, she got a text from her father in which he wrote that whatever happens, he will stand with her.

Kala Jaadu On Apoorva

In the video, she also reveals that a Tarot Card reader told her that Kala Jaadu was done her and she was convinced with it. She was told to fly somewhere overseas, so the Kala Jaadu will end.
