The usage of illegal, modified silencers on two-wheelers is one of the biggest reasons behind noise pollution. While such aftermarket silencers are banned to use on public roads, many bikers use them. In an action against such bikers, the Nellore police seized 173 bikes with modified silencers and fined the owners. The cops then used road rollers to destroy seized silencers.
