Amid chilly weather in Bengaluru, constant rain, memes rule Twitter | Bengaluru

Bengaluru has been witnessing constant downpour for the past three days. On Sunday, the city registered 41 mm of rain, according to the Indian Meteorological Department’s mid-day bulletin. There was hardly any relief from the chilly weather with a slight increase in temperature from Friday as the day’s minimum settled at 17.8 degrees Celsius. Earlier on Friday, the city recorded the minimum temperature at 16.4 degrees Celsius.

The Met department earlier noted that the Karnataka capital is likely to see moderate rain until Wednesday (December 14. The residents of the city woke up to another chilly morning on Monday with a slight drizzle.

And Bengaluru rains’ and ‘Bengaluru weather’ remained the talking point on Twitter with the users sharing light-hearted jokes and even memes. A user asked in jest, “It’s raining and is so cold outside. What is the procedure to work in this weather?”

Another user shared a video of the heavy pour and wrote, “Someone: Winter is coming. Bangalore: Sure, but the monsoon stays.”

However, the cab woes continue for people of Bengaluru amid the constant spell of rains. “You can get quicker responses from clients than you’ll ever get a cab in Bangalore,” tweeted a user named Bharati. Another guy named Maruthi agreed and wrote, “Bangalore startup idea: Cab service only during rains.”
